Taekwondo was a demonstration sport starting at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, South Korea. There were no demonstration sports at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta.
The Tulsa Games could host Taekwondo at the 6,311 seat Expo Square Pavilion, or the 5,662 Union Multipurpose Activity Center. The IOC allows multiple events to be scheduled at the same venue, if scheduling allows.
